Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes between Boston, MA, and Texas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills (GPS and paper maps)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Clean background check and no DUI/DWI convictions
