Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on designated routes in Kentucky and Georgia.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (DOT compliant) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure the safety of the driver and the public.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A or B license required (or willingness to obtain).
- Must possess a valid Medical Card (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to be trained on company-specific equipment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate across state lines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
