Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation, including delivery receipts and bills of lading.
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and receivers during pickup and delivery.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid United States Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and good standing.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
