Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations during all operations
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely deliveries and exceptional customer service
- Assist in loading/unloading cargo when required and secure loads properly
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and real-time tracking
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
