Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while verifying shipment documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status and delivery updates
- Manage delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and Texas highway systems
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
