Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and cargo security protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and client interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train on new technologies including ELD systems and route optimization tools
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in trip planning, GPS navigation, and electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Willingness to cross-train for multi-state operations (TX/WA)
