Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
- Document cargo and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NC/SC route regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD systems
