Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across regional routes
- Deliver freight to diverse locations while maintaining strict delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for accurate record-keeping
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with freight types (flatbed, dry van, refrigerated)
- Basic navigation skills using GPS and route planning tools
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
