Responsibilities
- Execute safe and timely package deliveries within designated Detroit metro routes
- Optimize daily delivery schedules using GPS navigation and real-time traffic updates
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer communication records
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Uphold company safety standards and traffic regulations at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate delivery equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer communication abilities
- Proficiency with smartphone apps for delivery tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
