Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Ensure secure handling and proper unloading of freight at destination points
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation regulations
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Good communication skills and ability to navigate independently
