Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual labor, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with FMCSA rules.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Achieve a passing score on the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
