Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle inquiries or issues on the road.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Drive in all weather conditions and varying terrains.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for weight and load calculations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
