Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and real-time tracking
- Document delivery receipts and handle paperwork with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record and minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required for all positions)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation management systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in refrigerated freight transportation (highly desirable)
