Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on multi-state routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips for compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading
- Deliver freight to distribution centers on strict deadlines
- Maintain professional communication with clients
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of HOS regulations and hazmat (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology
- Flexible availability including overnight trips
- Must pass comprehensive background check
