Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
- Previous experience in refrigerated freight preferred
