Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Execute timely deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Secure and verify cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding route status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
