Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) on regional routes within the DC metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, pre-trip inspections, and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and client interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Represent Capital Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all client engagements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check
