Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within 300-mile radius of Houston
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate records of shipments
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Represent Swift Logistics professionally with all clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
