Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and timely manner to ensure on-time delivery.
- Verify cargo load and ensure proper securing according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/ELD) and conduct thorough vehicle inspection reports.
- Deliver freight to designated locations throughout the New York metro area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major recent violations.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) valid for 12 months.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience with flatbed, tanker, or box trucks is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
