Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and efficiently, adhering to weight and balance requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding driving hours, speed limits, and traffic laws.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet improvement programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on role).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
