Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for freight transport across Arizona and neighboring states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Navigate complex delivery routes efficiently using GPS and route planning tools
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining pristine vehicle condition
- Participate in ongoing safety training and regulatory compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
