Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles following all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Transport diverse freight (refrigerated, dry van) to Phoenix metro and Arizona destinations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch and clients for efficient loading/unloading and delivery confirmations
- Adapt to changing schedules and routes while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Document trip details, incidents, and vehicle maintenance requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic navigation systems
- Knowledge of Arizona routes, weather conditions, and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team coordination
