Responsibilities
As a Part-Time CDL Driver at Apex Freight, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. Key duties include:

- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on assigned local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution is secure.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (DOT compliant).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
