Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads against shifting.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (EOBR) and all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at delivery locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanics.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
