As a CDL Driver with MetroExpress, you will ensure the timely and safe delivery of freight, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo according to weight and balance regulations.
- Complete daily logs and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ensure the cargo area is clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
