Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Mesa, AZ area roads and traffic patterns.
- Basic math skills for making change and reading delivery tickets.
