Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations in Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and paperwork, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by handling deliveries with professionalism and care.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, both inside and out, at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local Minneapolis roadways and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
