Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned delivery routes in the Kansas City metro area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and safety protocols are followed.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) accurately and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate Class (A or B) and endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling cargo and handling basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
