Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete necessary delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (Must have proper endorsements).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
