Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT card) must be presented.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of local Mesa, AZ roads and traffic patterns is preferred.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
