Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely at various delivery points throughout Columbus and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and daily mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
