Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight across Nebraska and surrounding states
- Perform thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Nebraska
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat regulations (preferred but not required)
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb equipment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
