Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery timelines and optimize routes for efficiency
- Represent our company professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of Oakland/BA area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
