Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on local and interstate routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (training available for those without).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and adherence to traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel as business needs dictate.
- Valid DOT Medical Card required.
