Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver cargo on time and within schedule.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, adhering to company appearance standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (State of Illinois).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- No prior experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
