Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) for local/regional routes
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pickup operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A or B preferred, but training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
- Willingness to obtain CDL through company training program
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
