Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations and proper securement methods.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all necessary paperwork.
- Deliver freight to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic reading and math skills for documentation purposes.
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) before starting.
