Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B vehicles in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate handling equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk.
- Uphold a professional image and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is required.
- No prior driving experience required; we offer paid training for qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math and reading skills for paperwork accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands of loading.
