Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated customer locations within strict timeframes.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DOT compliant) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Interact professionally with customers and handle cargo with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required (or be willing to get one through our training program).
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no serious violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stack cargo up to 50lbs as needed.
