Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles following DOT regulations and company protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Deliver freight to multiple locations with punctual scheduling
- Adapt to route changes and weather conditions while prioritizing safety
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL within 60 days of hire (paid training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Willingness to work variable schedules including early mornings/weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct
- No CDL experience required - training provided!
