Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and legal manner in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Achieve a satisfactory score on the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Willingness to undergo paid training and background checks.
