Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently from origin to destination.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery schedules within tight timeframes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and handling of materials.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- No prior driving experience required; we provide paid training for qualified candidates.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to travel regionally within North Carolina and Ohio.
