Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and secure cargo using appropriate tie-downs and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the ropes of the trucking industry.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication.
