Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver goods on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Eligible to work in the United States (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Residency).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculations and document verification.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
