Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills and safety knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Class A CDL (we provide paid training)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load verification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Clean driving record and reliable attendance history
