Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) at the time of hire.
- Clean driving record (no major accidents or DUIs in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
