Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to transport freight safely to delivery points in Georgia and Florida.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at each stop.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle interior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and paperwork.
- Strong navigation skills and attention to detail.
