Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within North Carolina
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Raleigh Logistics Group professionally in customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license (non-CDL acceptable)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain CDL through our paid training program
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and some weekends
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
