Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) within Miami-Dade County and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Participate in ongoing safety training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Must be 21+ years old per federal regulations
