Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods across designated routes in the Chicago metro area
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with secure loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (no experience necessary)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and secure cargo
